Ballet Boy & Hot Lap of the Bay

Missed the Striders 10k race to take B to Ballet. Halfway through the lesson Mr 2-year old walked over and joined the queue to do “Fairy runs” and took his turn before sitting in line with all the girls. The teacher looked annoyed, all the spectating parents were in stitches and the boy looked very pleased with himself. Not sure we’ll be able to keep him away now, but to be honest I think he might be a bit solid for a ballet dancer. Prop forward maybe…

Ran to Rodd Point in the afternoon and caught up with the Tiger for an easy lap of Iron Cove. Hot & sunny, 18.3km. Had planned to do a tempo run but I’m finding 2 sessions a week plus a long run is giving good results so no need to risk it all by ramping up the quality too quickly. My body still needs more conditioning at >100km weeks for a while.
